This workshop will look at the concept of safe(r) spaces<\/em>. We will start with the question: What is a safe(r) space<\/em>? and shed light on why these spaces are created and why they are indispensable. We will also examine why safe(r) spaces<\/em> are particularly important in black feminist contexts and how they are anchored in anti-racist work. These spaces not only offer protection but also the opportunity for collective healing and networking.<\/p>

Together we will reflect on the challenges of everyday life, develop strategies for self-healing and discover our strengths. It's about dealing with racism, micro-aggressions and the emotional burdens that these experiences bring with them. But it's also about simply being, recharging our batteries, laughing and sharing.<\/p>

The aim is to empower each other and build networks that support us in our personal and collective growth. caf\u00e9 r\u00e9volution<\/em><\/strong><\/span> is a meeting place created by Black and Black-identified women and femmes for people affected by anti-Black racism and a wider, interested public. The association aims to create a physical safe space for active anti-racist work, self-empowerment and education, as well as for meetings, exchange, networking, staying and healing for Black and Black-read women and femmes and all people interested in anti-racist work.<\/p>

This Safer Space offers both inclusive and exclusive events. The exclusive events are aimed at people who are affected by certain forms of discrimination. caf\u00e9 r\u00e9volution<\/em><\/strong><\/span> is a meeting place created by Black and Black-identified women and femmes for people affected by anti-Black racism and a wider, interested public. The association aims to create a physical safe space for active anti-racist work, self-empowerment and education, as well as for meetings, exchange, networking, staying and healing for Black and Black-read women and femmes and all people interested in anti-racist work.<\/p>

This Safer Space offers both inclusive and exclusive events. The exclusive events are aimed at people who are affected by certain forms of discrimination.
