Inspiriert von ihrem pal\u00e4stinensischen Vater, der nach Deutschland floh, begann sie fr\u00fch postkoloniale Projekte mit Schwerpunkt Nahost und Nordafrika zu initiieren. So gr\u00fcndete sie u.a. 2011 das Arab*Underground auf dem Fusion Festival. Seit 2019 arbeitet Jamila als Dozentin, Trainerin und Beraterin im Feld der Rassismuskritischen Kulturarbeit an universit\u00e4ren und kulturpolitischen Einrichtungen. Zudem tourt sie - wenn nicht gerade Pandemie ist - mit ihrer Psychedelic Desert Funk Band <a href=\\\"http:\/\/www.jamilaandtheotherheroes.com\\\" target=\\\"_blank\\\" rel=\\\"noopener\\\"><span style=\\\"text-decoration: underline;\\\"><strong>Jamila &amp; The Other Heroes<\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u00a0durch Europa und Nahost.<\/span><\/p><p class=\\\"_Standard_small\\\"><b>Alyssa Dillard <\/b><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\">ist Performerin und Regisseurin aus Texas, USA, und schloss ihr M.A. Studium an der Academy of Performing Arts Prag ab. Sie lebt derzeit in Prag und entwickelt von dort ortsspezifische Performances, in denen sie k\u00fcnstlerische Elemente wie Musik, Tanz, Theater und Installation in Verbindung bringt. Abilaschan is besides his functions as a podcast host also active as a diversity trainer within the club scene in Berlin.<\/span><\/p><p class=\\\"_Standard_small\\\"><b>Jamila Al-Yousef<\/b><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\"> is a singer, festival curator, and cultural scientist from Berlin. Inspired by her Palestinian father who came to Germany as a refugee, she early started creating postcolonial projects to share diverse perspectives on the Middle East, North Africa and postmigrant topics. Amongst other she establishes the Arab*Underground program at Fusion Festival.
