From May 2017 to April 2018 the transeuropa e.V. organized the event series »Gleis 5« in cooperation with the Kulturfabrik Löseke, an independent cultural venue in Hildesheim. All of the events dealt with the notion of »fluidity« in different ways and were used to present different artistic positions on it.
Nuray Demir, berlin based artist and curator is talking about her installation »Hamamness« which she created in 2015 for the Live Art Festival at Kampnagel, Hamburg, and which was also part of the Wiener Festwochen 2017. Taking »Hamamness« as an example we will talk about permeability, fluidity and blurring lines. Lecture, talk, buffet.

Seeing - seeing more and more of something and trying to identify the form of it, and may the experience be so fleeting, fuzzy or formless. FLIMMERSKOTOM plays with the potential of deficient perception, tilts the theater space to the side and re-maps it, making light audible, sound palpable, is dazzling with darkness and hiding in the light.

Tami T might be best known for her song »I never loved this hard this fast before« that was featured in the film "Something Must Break" by Ester Martin Bergsmark. She is simultaneously working on and touring with her pop-career and composing for dance-, theatre- and film projects. With explicit romantic lyrics, sparkling pop melodies and clubby beats she covers the dance floor and our minds in pink glitter.

Wishing Well is a choreographed piece about the comical side of melancholia and Justin Bieber's Philosophy: Follow your dreams and don't let anybody stop you. Tanja and Ernestyna created two characters that remind the viewer of something between a fairy and a depressed plastic surgeon and they let them explore what the comical side of melancholia could possibly be. Does the promising concept of melancholia that is comical even exist? The characters explore the fields of healthy nutrition, friendship and the possibility of a real wishing well. Now all their dreams could come true, but how should they know what they should wish for?
