transeuropa2009:
coproductions

[inter//space]
With inter//space transeuropa2009 organises a balancing act of borders. Since last autumn a german and a serbian team have been working on a collective project.
The group of 11 celebrates the subtle distinction: on the basis of their own biographies and those of the audience, the performers illuminate the interspaces, that can be found under the label „Europe“.
Grand Prix d´Eurofiction is the name of their production that, true to its name, works like a grand show of differentiation: Europe is a game an we are the contestants. Let’s go!

inter//space is a cooperation with the FIST-Festival, Belgrade.

[borderzone_09]
the borderzone_09 is open. Artists from Belgium and Germany move to Hildesheim and spend a month working on their submitted concepts. In doing so their work itself becomes a performance: The theatremakers are inspired beyond culural and linguistic barriers, they exchange experiences, and reinvent themselves.

Less Mess, the label of the choreographers Efrat Stempler and Martin Stiefermann plans an interactive performance, that wants to make borders and their whole range of efficacy perceptible.
In contrast, Known Some Call Is Air Am, Michiel Soete‘s and Bas Devos‘ project is looking for a space that is free of limtations and their effects.
With borderzone_09 theater takes the place of dividing lines: from two separated plans comprehensive communication emerges.
